The Esthetic Institute is a private licensed and certified Beauty School operating in the Tri-State area for over 25 years. The school tracks its performance statistics with respect to completion, licensure, and placement. The Esthetic Institute is Certified by SCHEV, Licensed by DPOR, and Accredited by NACCAS.
About the Facility
Our state of the art facility located in Vienna Virginia, has ease of access from many areas in Virginia, Maryland, and DC. Several metro lines are accessible and nearby, and a bus stop is located right in front of our building on Old Courthouse Rd. Our state of the art facility is equipped with distinct work areas which are utilized for classroom theory, hands on demonstrations and student clinics. These areas include modern teaching aids with supportive audio-visual equipment designed to encourage those students who learn visually. Students at the Esthetic Institute will use professional salon grade products during the course of their study and we proudly partner with Dermalogica, IMAGE and Lira just to name a few, as well as our very own Esthetic Institute skincare line. Each student will receive his/her own lab material for use in the practical sessions including handouts and lecture notes. Each student will also receive a personal username and password to access the Esthetic Institute’s online learning portal.
The Esthetic Institute is one of the 10 schools in USA and the first school in VA to be an Accredited CIDESCO Beauty Therapy School, which entitles us to offer students the opportunity of sitting for the CIDESCO Examination to obtain the coveted and prestigious CIDESCO INTERNATIONAL DIPLOMA.
We are the area’s leading training facility for : Master Esthetics, Esthetics, Hair Removal, Skin Specialist, Makeup Artistry, Electrolysis, Permanent Cosmetics and CIDESCO International Diploma.
We offer affordable training for state board Licensing in Virginia, Maryland and DC. Our full-time and part-time class scheduling allows the flexibility and the structure you need to complete the necessary hours for your chosen program. In addition we maintain constant contact with prospective employers so that when you are ready, we can help you to get into the industry with an effective resume and interview performance skills.

School Hours & Schedules
The Esthetic Institute operates continuously throughout the year except for recognized holidays. Full time day programs are usually offered on a day schedule of Monday-Thursday 9:30am-5:00pm. Evening classes are offered on an afternoon schedule of 1-2 evenings per week 5:00pm-9:30pm and Saturdays or Sundays 9:30am –4:30pm. Schedules vary per program.
