Manual Facial
Aim of the course
To provide candidates the required information and qualification to be able to efficiently and effectively work as skin care therapists offering facial treatments including cleansing technique; skin analysis; tinting and shaping; deep cleansing with brush machine, steamer and exfoliation products; facial massage; mask applications and day care application.
Pre-requisite
No pre-requisites are required
Training
Candidates are required to have completed a course of at least 300 hours at a registered CIDESCO School covering all subjects in the CIDESCO Manual Facial Certificate Syllabus.
Examination
All candidates must have undertaken at least 4 school examinations (2 Practical and 2 Theory) during the course of their training before being eligible to sit their CIDESCO examination.
The examination for the Manual Facial Certificate consists of three parts:
- Theoretical examination – Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) exam. 1 Hour. 60 Questions
- Practical examination. 2 Hours.
- 5 Case Histories. Pre- requisite to sit Manual Facial Certificate Examination.

Skin Care Diploma
Aim of the course

Pre-requisite
The CIDESCO Diploma in Skin Care is available to any candidates.
Training
Candidates are required to have completed a course of at least 730 hours at a registered CIDESCO School covering all subjects in the CIDESCO Skin Care Syllabus.
Training

Cancelation: All fees must be paid in full 90 days prior to the Exam and are non‐refundable, unless the school cancels the exam session.
Schedule: Dates will be provided for the workshops once registration is closed. We close registration 3 months before the Exam date to leave ample time for students to prepare for the exam and to work on their
project/case histories. Exams are held annually in either the Spring or Fall.
Please note that Certification programs are not accredited and do not qualify for Title IV financial aid or GI Bill® /VA Chapters.
Candidates must provide a model for the exam ‐ details will be given during the workshops.
