Education Manager

The Education & Events Manager will promote brand image and values by training estheticians and Beauty Specialists on product knowledge, protocol treatments and selling techniques. This position also conducts in-person and virtual events for both spa and department stores.

 

TASKS & DUTIES

Events (up to 25-50%): Conduct animations at spas, department stores and various points of sale by performing facials, master classes and pop-up events (in person or virtual depending on client’s need).
Trainings (50%): Deliver technical and theoretical trainings (in-person or virtual) that are informative, engaging and maximize product knowledge retention on the latest skin care techniques and product launches.
Develop a trusting relationship with clients and their teams
Consistently deliver extraordinary Valmont professional esthetic services and sales advice to clients
Administrative tasks (20%)Organize schedule and own travel coordination, according to the requests of the sales team.
Ensure that all paperwork after every training / animation is completed and submitted in a timely manner
Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool to schedule trainings, order gifts and add follow-up notes and photos after each training or event conducted in the territory.
Pro-active follow-up and support with client needs and requests
Organization of trainings (logistics, food, supplies, kit replenishment, etc)
Learning and practicing: Maintain high level of expertise in product and protocol knowledge.
Meetings (5%): Attend National Sales, Marketing and Education meetings 2-4 times a year, to remain up-to date on product launches and new protocols.

Good knowledge regarding beauty care.
Capacity to learn quickly.
Proven ability to learn and perfect Valmont’s face & body protocols.
Excellent communication skills, comfortable with public speaking.
Customer-oriented with an ability to sell and give sales-based trainings
Highly collaborative; working with various departments in a team-oriented environment.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking and pro-active organizational skills.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Power Point) and Microsoft Teams.
Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, self-confident, flexible, team player and positive attitude.
Fluent in English, Mandarin is an asset.
 

QUALIFICATIONS

Esthetician diploma and proficiency
Californian Esthetic License.
Minimum of three or more years’ experience in a similar position
Prior experience in a luxury environment preferred
 

OTHER RELEVANT INFORMATION

 

Flexible work schedule: Able to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the customer that could include nights, weekends

 

Traveling: Travel required within territory and possibly outside territory when needed (up to 25%). Should be able to travel freely throughout North-America.
