Silver Mirror is a new facial bar in the heart of New York City and Washington, DC, which is introducing a fresh and decidedly modern approach to skincare. Our DC locations are based in the heart of Dupont Circle at 1301 19th St NW at the corner of N St. at Navy Yards at 3 Tingey Square St SW, Washington DC 20003

We understand that most skincare solutions are less than perfect. Spa facials, medical dermatology, at-home products, and laser treatments can be expensive, time-consuming, confusing, and frustratingly ineffective. Silver Mirror was started to solve those problems. Founded by two friends in 2016 with a goal to change the way consumers think about, take care of, and maintain their skin.

It’s a simple concept: great skin takes consistent upkeep. Just like going to the gym regularly or getting weekly manicures, you have to perform ongoing maintenance in order to see results, that’s where we come in. Silver Mirror makes it easy for guests to prioritize their skincare.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Silver Mirror is actively looking for creative, energetic, and talented estheticians to perform high-quality, customized facials at our locations. With Silver Mirror, you are joining a dynamic work environment with long-term growth potential and strong earnings opportunities.

As an esthetician, your job responsibilities include but are not limited to: –

– Analyze, consult and perform high-quality facials in a professional and comfortable setting

– Create an excellent and unforgettable experience for our clients

– Build new guest relationships and focus on retention of clients

– Meet and/or exceed service and retail objectives

– Execute services to Silver Mirror standards

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirements include:

– Valid and current DC Esthetician license

– Positive, enthusiastic, personable attitude and passionate about skincare

– Deep and thorough understanding of skin, skincare and products

– Consistently delivers remarkable customer service

– Able to utilize new techniques and ideas

– Able to work under pressure with performance goals and sales requirements

– Schedule flexibility required including nights and weekends

– Reliable and punctual

– Excellent time management, organizational, and follow-up skills

SHIFTS

We are looking to fill 2-3 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift. All Estheticians are required to work one weekend day.

All of our weekday shifts are 1 pm – 9 pm.

All of our weekend shifts are 10 am – 6 pm.

If additional shifts opened up or additional on-call shifts, you would be first in line.
