We are currently hiring a Lead Esthetician for our new facial bar opening August. Training begins mid-July.

Our DC locations are based in the heart of Dupont Circle at 1301 19th St NW at the corner of N St. at Navy Yards at 1355 3rd St SE, Washington DC 20003

We understand that most skincare solutions are less than perfect. Spa facials, medical dermatology, at-home products, and laser treatments can be expensive, time-consuming, confusing, and frustratingly ineffective. Silver Mirror was started to solve those problems. Founded by two friends in 2016 with a goal to change the way consumers think about, take care of, and maintain their skin.

It’s a simple concept: great skin takes consistent upkeep. Just like going to the gym regularly or getting weekly manicures, you have to perform ongoing maintenance in order to see results, that’s where we come in. Silver Mirror makes it easy for guests to prioritize their skincare.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Silver Mirror is actively looking for creative, energetic, and talented estheticians to perform high-quality, customized facials at our locations. With Silver Mirror, you are joining a dynamic work environment with long-term growth potential and strong earnings opportunities.

The Lead Esthetician is responsible for administering skin care and body treatments, according to standard operating procedures. In addition, they are responsible for educating and coaching the esthetics team. The lead esthetician is responsible for managing the inventory levels for professional skin care products. The Lead Esthetician is required to build a repeat guestele, and actively participate and teach retail sales.

Position Requirements

·   Administer all scheduled skin care treatments, according to standard operating procedures.

·   Generate sales and revenue by recommending and/or up-selling products and services.

·   Maintain an ongoing repeat guestele.

·   Administer ongoing  continuing education in skin care practices.

·   Conduct  associate meetings and workshops.

·   Maintain the cleanliness of individual treatment stations  according to standard operating procedures.

·   Follow protocol for guest greeting, goal setting, health history documentation, and follow-up communications.

·   Assist with special projects, events, and promotions as needed.

·   Adhere to all corporate, departmental and spa operational policies and procedures.

·   Respond to guest questions and associate concerns in a timely, professional manner.

·   Deliver a high level of guest rapport and service.

·   Adhere to company guidelines and core values.

·   Demonstrate positive attitude and actions through a display of courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality,      sensitivity and professionalism to internal guests.

·   Complete weekly station checks, review inventory levels, station cleanliness, equipment checks

·   Complete monthly ordering form based on current inventory

·   Train all new therapists following training manual and guidelines. 

·   Ensure laundry is complete and machines are maintained

·   Play an active and hands-on role in supporting the overall units Cleaning and Sanitation procedures.

·    Contribute to protocols, manuals and product decisions.
