Title: Lash & Waxing Specialist – Smiley Skin Beauty

Location: Fairfax, VA

Terms: Part-Time / On-Call

Salary/Rate: Commission pay + Tips

Qualifications:

·         Virginia Esthetician or Cosmetology license required.

·         Outgoing personality, positive attitude and able to work with others.

·         Ability to provide exceptional customer service and build a loyal client base.

·         Professional demeanor, neat and clean appearance.

·         Reliable and punctual, with a professional work ethic.

·         Strong understanding of eyelash health and safety.

·         Excellent eye for details and precision in lash and brow artistry.

·         Previous lash, brow and waxing experience preferred, but not required.

·         CPR Certification is preferred, but not required.

·         Advanced Certification in lash extensions and/or brow laminations is highly desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities:

·         Be able to perform the following with little to no supervision:

o   Eyelash Extensions

o   Eyelash Lift and Tint

o   Eyebrow Lamination and Tint

o   Face and Body Waxing

·         Manage client appointments and maintain accurate client records.

·         Facilitate seamless guest experiences by processing payments, managing checkouts, and efficiently scheduling future appointments using our booking software.

·         Stay up to date with the latest trends and techniques in lash and brow treatments. Maintain a high level of skill and knowledge in your area of expertise.

·         Educate clients on proper aftercare to ensure best results. This also includes the ability to sell products to support client skincare goals.

·         Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all salon standards and sanitation protocols.

·         Must assist in marketing events such as special events and trade shows in order the expand the Smiley Skin brand.
